Playground and rooms

The playground​

The playground is where you jam live with other people, each on your own Orbiter, in one room. You need to be signed in.

  • Public jam: press Find a jam to join someone who is looking.
  • Create a jam: pick a collection, a score and a length, then Open a private jam or Open a public jam. You can also press Start room in an Orbiter collection.

The collection must be one you've shared and must have tracks in it.

Rooms​

  • A room has a few seats for Orbiters and xPlorers; when they are taken, others can still listen.
  • Everyone in a room sees the same things: what the room's host can see.
  • In the waiting room, invite people with copy the code, copy link or share room. The host presses start when everyone is there.
  • To join with a code, open the playground, choose Enter code and type it (for example bee-orchid-4821).
  • A private room is open only to people with its link or code. A public room is also listed for people looking for a jam. Only the host can switch it.
